» No signal on BMW X1 E84 Display after installation, what to do ?

Q:

It’s not showing the car features, only No signal,  This car had a screen before I changed it. I need the cars information to pop up on the screen such as factory navigation car sources everything what other settings can I set.

A:

For “no signal” on OEM screen after installation, it is wiring issue.

Please check the following:

1. Please check if the optic fiber is relocated correctly .

2. Please check the wiring connection of screen and LVDS plug. CIC is 4Pin LVDS.the original LVDS plug is 4pin also

3. Please double check the connection of android plug to original radio to make sure it is well connected.

4. Please make sure the original radio is powered on and working well.

if the above are tested, please not remove android cable connection, and connect the LVDS plug to original screen and see if it works .

if it works, please check the android factory setting(code is 2018) to see if the protocol chosen is CIC.
