I bought it and installed it on my 2018 Mercedes GLC 300.
I am writing this review after several months of using mine.
Several things to consider if you are planning to get them for this particular vehicle.
PRO:
1. The 12.3″ is impressive and make it look very nice, touchscreen is very sensitive.
2. Installation is not bad, but you have to follow step by step on youtube video. Took me 2-3hrs having to pause the video and follow it closely.
3. The wiring harnesses make it very easy to install. Got all my cameras and speakers to work properly.
4. The wife is happy with it.
CON:
1. The screen is shinny and not as bright as the original Mercedes screen and so it’s difficult to see and operate in a bright sunny day even at the max brightness.
2. The plastic holder for the screen is wobbly making annoying rubbing sound. The connection is very cheaply made. I finally had to glue it today to hold it tight.
3. For my particular model, NTG 5.0, there is a 2-3 seconds delayed on the sound on video, even if you have mp4 file directly connected to the USB. To fix the problem, you have to get DSP amplifier modular, which is $98 shipping pay via paypal shipping from china. Not sure if you can return it if it doesn’t work, I decided not to get one.
4. You have to follow many youtube videos to get all the settings right! eg wireless carplay, sound, camera.
OVERALL: I am happy with the way it looks, but there are still some minor annoying functionality about it. Other reviews were right that it’s over valued. For $650, I would expect better functionalities and ease of use.

Had it installed by a professional.

Let me start by saying, I’m not a car audio expert, and have never undertaken an installation on this scale before (maybe a single DIN in a Fiat Uno 20 years ago!) I opted for this particular unit as it has the 8 core processor and thought that would be a slicker UI than the 4 core alternatives. In the box was the screen, cables and an install guide. I didn’t really use the install guide as it’s not too easy to follow and I think it misses some steps. I did, however watch half an dozen YouTube videos of people installing similar units plus one of this specific screen being installed. Following the videos step by step, the install was actually pretty straightforward. The trickiest bits were running the cables through and making sure everything was out of the way when putting it all back. Couple of tips I learnt. – Remove the glove box, it makes running the cables so much easier. – Use some tape to hold the screws for the plastic frame up out of the way otherwise they’ll catch when you push the frame in. Once installed I had two issues to fix, the reverse camera wasn’t working and there was no sound output. The camera was fixed by going into the factory menu and changing camera selection to OEM camera. The sound was fixed by watching a YouTube video on how to set the unit up so it automatically picks up the AUX output. In terms of the actual unit, the screen is bright, clear and there is zero delay on inputs. The rotary wheel /touchpad work fine too.

Took a while to figure out connection issues but it’s user error. Seller was helpful in the troubleshooting process.
